I NEED TO SELL MY CAR QUICKLY - CAN YOU HELP?
Selling your car quickly will not be a problem, we can give you a quote over the phone within one hour, and as we are local to you in Kent and always have funds available and can usually complete a deal the same day.
DO YOU PAY CASH FOR CARS?
We pay either by Bankers draft or via a secure money transfer directly into your bank account - whichever you prefer. Paying cash for cars would mean carrying large amounts of cash around, either by you or us and we feel that is both unsafe & unwise.
HOW DO YOU WORK OUT MY QUOTE?
We have access to up to the minute databases, hundreds of contacts in the motor trade and over 30 years experience, we will research your car thoroughly, using the information you have provided us, to enable us to give you a proper valuation & not a “safe” computer programme generated quote.
I DON’T HAVE A V5, WILL YOU BUY MY CAR?
We must have a V5 (logbook) registered in your name to be able to buy your car from you. You can get a new one from the DVLA by completing and returning a V62 form - available from the post office or online from this link http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DG_4017825. If you have mislaid your V5, but the car is registered in your name, DVLA have an express service available.
I OWE FINANCE ON MY CAR - WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO SELL MY CAR?
There are two options;
- Settle your finance directly with your finance company yourself - we will need written confirmation from them that they have received full, cleared payment when we collect your car.
- We can settle your outstanding amount for you, we will simply deduct the amount from the valuation of your car and pay it on your behalf. We will need you to contact the finance company yourself to get a written settlement figure for us, as data protection laws prevent us from doing this for you.
NB - If you owe more than the sale price of your car - you will need to pay the balance before we can collect your car - we will need written confirmation of this from your finance company.
You can, alternatively, pay us the difference in the form of a Bankers draft made payable to the finance company.
CAN I GET MORE MONEY FOR MY CAR IF I PART EXCHANGE IT?
A dealer may well offer you, what appears to be an excellent part exchange price - this may be because they have a large margin on the car they are trying to sell you and give you some of that margin on top of the realistic value of your car to make the deal more appealing to you.
The main consideration is the cost to you to change cars, often you will be able to find a similar car to the one the dealer is offering at a better price elsewhere, either online or when you are a cash buyer.
Remember - selling your car to us will put you in a stronger position - you will be a cash buyer!
We want to buy your car, so will offer you the best genuine price for your car - we are not trying to sell you something, so have no ulterior motive.
IS YOUR WORKING DAY FLEXIBLE? I LIVE IN KENT BUT WORK LONG HOURS IN LONDON.
Yes, we are, we understand that you may live in Kent but work elsewhere and/or work long hours, so we will be as flexible as possible.
